East of CR951 Horizon Committee's Infrastructure and Services
"FINAL Report"
The Preliminary East of County Road 951 Infrastructure and Services Horizon Study is a project that identifies three levels of service options for public infrastructure and service outlays for the area east of CR951. These areas include Transportation, Public Utilities, Schools, Parks and Recreation, Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire, Libraries and Storm water Management.
The 2001 Collier County Demographic and Economic Profile describes the demographic, economic and social characteristics of Collier County. The data includes existing conditions, projections and trends, as well as comparisons of Collier County with the State of Florida and other counties.
A number of maps exist for planning purposes and the public. The County is divided into 12 different planning communities. This, in part, allows for a more structured monitoring program on the development of the County, and allows for smoother implementation of the County’s growth management plan. Other maps are included within this profile, and are available for purchase by the public.

Golden Gate Area Master Plan LDC Project Description:
The first Golden Gate Area Master Plan (GGAMP) was created in 1991. On February 10, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners directed staff to initiate “restudies” of four GMP master plans in eastern Collier County, including the GGAMP. The restudy of the GGAMP and resultant White Paper have led to a Growth Management Plan amendment that is anticipated for adoption in early 2019.
This Land Development Code (LDC) amendment represents the implementation of the proposed changes that are related to the Golden Gate Parkway corridor, generally located between Santa Barbara Boulevard and Collier Boulevard in Golden Gate City (as shown below). This LDC amendment creates the Golden Gate Parkway Overlay District (GGPOD), which will supersede the existing overlay districts that are in place along this corridor. The GGPOD will support and implement residential and commercial redevelopment and renewal initiatives.
The most recent draft (proposed language) of the GGPOD can found by accessing the CityView public portal. Under the Planning Department section of the public portal, click the "Status and Fees" link and then type PL20190001927.
