Development Services Advisory Committee (DSAC)
What is the Development Services Advisory Committee (DSAC)?
This 16 member committee was created on 10/12/93 by Ord. No. 93-76, amended on 11/07/95 by Ord. No. 95-60 to add additional categories of industry membership representation, amended on 9/12/23 by Ord. No. 23-40 to add a non-voting AHAC representative. This committee represents the various aspects of the development industry such as architect, general contractor, residential or building contractor, environmentalist, land planner, land developer, landscape architect, professional engineer, utility contractor, plumbing contractor, electrical contractor, structural engineer, attorney, and non-voting representative of the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.
The purpose of this committee is to provide reports and recommendations to the BCC to assist in the enhancement of operational efficiency and budgetary accountability within the Growth Management Community Development Division and to serve as a primary communication link between the Growth Management Community Development Division, the development industry and the citizens of Collier County. Terms are 4 years.
When and where does the DSAC meet?
The DSAC meets in regular session on the first Wednesday of each month. Occasionally subcommittees will be formed that may meet with greater frequency.
Regular sessions are typically held at 3:00 p.m. in Conference Room 609/610 at the Growth Management Building, 2800 Horseshoe Drive N, Naples, FL 34104.
