Land Development Code Section and Amendments
The Collier County’s Land Development Code (LDC) is the principal regulatory tool for implementing the County’s Growth Management Plan (GMP). The authority and responsibility for implementation of the provisions of the LDC are assigned to the County Manager or designee. The responsibility for individual provisions, regulations, or sections of the LDC may be designated, delegated, or assigned to other named individuals on annual basis by the County Manager. To support the County Manager, the Planning & Zoning Division's Land Development Code Section serves to draft, research, maintain and coordinate all the County and privately initiated LDC amendments
The Land Development Code (LDC) public vetting process includes public meetings with multiple advisory boards where the amendments are reviewed for consistency with the Collier County GMP. The County advisory boards that review Land Development Code amendments include:
