FLU_Combined 2020The goal of the Growth Management Plan (GMP) is to establish the vision, framework and policies for future growth in Collier County, while maintaining compliance with the legislative requirements of the State of Florida.

The Growth Management Plan, and the Future Land Use Element and Future Land Use Element Map, may change by private petition, referred to as Growth Management Plan Amendments, to modify a property's land use, density or intensity.

GMP Amendments may be monitored in the GMCD Portal. For instructions and guidance in using the portal to check the status of a GMP Amendment project, go to the How to Use the GMCD Portal page.
