Upcoming Projects:

Davis Boulevard Landscape Beautification Project (Santa Barbara Boulevard to Collier Boulevard) 2.5 Miles

This project is a pilot project developed in partnership with the Naples Botanical Garden per the Board of County Commissioners approved landscape improvement program. The project includes landscape and irrigation improvements utilizing grant funding from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

Florida Department of Transportation grants of approximately $965,000 have been obtained to help fund the design and installation of landscape and irrigation components to support the plantings along 2.5 miles of roadway.

Staff is collaborating with a Florida not-for-profit entity, Naples Botanical Garden, Inc. This practical, no-cost resource to the county is assisting with achieving a greater diversity of low-maintenance, regionally appropriate plant material. In addition, to enhance the landscaping, improve the plant palette, increase resiliency, reduce water consumption, fertilizer usage, and maintenance cycles of this landscaping project.
