Board of County Commissioners
The Collier County Board of County Commissioners is comprised of five members elected in the five different districts of the county. The Board of County Commissioners serves as the governing body of the county and has the responsibility of setting policies that protect the health, safety, welfare and quality of life of our residents and visitors. The Board of County Commissioners appoints a county manager to carry out policies and oversee the county’s day-to-day operations.
Regular meetings of the Board of County Commissioners are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. During the months of November and December, the Board holds only one regular meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Remote Participation in BCC Meetings
To participate remotely in a Hybrid Remote Board of County Commissioners meeting, find the meeting listed on the Calendar of Events webpage. Once you open the meeting, you will be on a page containing the link to register for remote participation and the agenda.
The registration page will require you to give your name, email address, phone number, address and to select the item you wish to speak on. Remote participation is audio-only. The Board will not see the participant's camera or screen.
The remote participation registration link will be posted a few days before the meeting and must be completed before the start of the meeting. Remote participation is provided as a courtesy and is at the user's risk. The County is not responsible for technical issues.
