Complementing this extensive tenure, Ed has accrued a decade of invaluable experience in the private sector, specifically in Commercial Construction.
Notably, Ed's professional journey includes a pivotal period as the Collier County Water and Wastewater Director and Public Works Administrator from 1997 to 2000, where he played a crucial role in shaping the county's infrastructure landscape. This background attests to his deep understanding of the intricacies of government finance and budgeting.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Ed was appointed Deputy County Manager in July 2022. In this capacity, he undertakes the oversight of a substantial budget, managing a portfolio that includes $34 million in Facilities Capital Improvement Projects.
