Pre-hurricane Community Clean-up Event

The Golden Gate City Task Force is holding a Pre-Hurricane Community Clean-up Event from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18. The event will be held at the corner of Golden Gate Parkway and 44th St. SW, Naples, Florida.

About the event:

The Collier County Code Enforcement Division, Collier County Solid and Hazardous Waste, and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office organized this clean-up to provide area residents with a free and convenient way to dispose of no longer needed materials.

Residents are welcome to dispose of a variety of items, including small construction debris, wood, household hazardous waste (cleaning chemicals, motor oil, paint, batteries), household appliances, furniture, electronics (computers, cell phones, tv’s, etc.), yard waste, and most other household junk.

As a reminder, you can schedule a free curbside pick-up of bulky items, including standard-size motor vehicle tires, furniture, and appliances, by calling Collier County Utility Billing and Customer Service at (239) 252-2380 at least 48 hours before your regular recycling collection day.
