The Collier County Sheriff's Office is looking for positive, proactive, energetic, enthusiastic individuals that support our core principles of community, safety, service to fill the position of Real-Time Operations Center (ROC) Analyst. Starting salary at $23.56 per hour. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Computer literate and able to type 35 correct words per minute.
  • Minimum Wonderlic score of 24, and OPAC of 80%.
  • Must possess Associate's Degree or equivalent training or experience.
  • Availability for shiftwork.
  • Availability to be on-call. 

Position Requirements: 

  • Ability to prepare and present complex analytical reports.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain FCIC certification.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, a self-starter.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under time time constraints.
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures associated with criminal justice.
  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis techniques. 
  • Knowledge of research and/or investigative techniques and procedures.
  • Skills in developing spreadsheets, database management, charting and work processing documents. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer programming a plus. 

Example of Duties:

  • Collect, collate, analyze and disseminate criminal justice related information, such as crime series and trends, traffic and accidents, activities of gang members, habitual offenders, and criminal intelligence.
  • Review news sources, public information, and real time data for intelligence information.
  • Prepare link analysis diagrams, telephone toll analysis, flow charts, and association matrixes in support of investigations. 
  • Prepare law enforcement bulletins and threat assessment reports.
  • Develop leads, associations, and hypotheses based on information gathered in criminal or intelligence investigations.
