Volunteer Orientation - Come to Help Animals

Required to Become a Volunteer

Orientation to Become a Volunteer

  • 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 19
  • Volunteers MUST be 16 years or older

If you want to help animals that are homeless, this is the perfect opportunity.

Volunteers participate in a number of positions including:

  • Helping distribute marketing materials
  • Walking dogs
  • Socializing and holding cats
  • Marketing pets by assisting potential adopting families in adoption areas
  • Helping at special events such as the pet festival Howl-A-Day Jubilee
  • Providing support in secretarial functions
  • Assisting with planned giving (still needed)

Kathy Drew is the DAS Volunteer Coordinator, formerly with the Collier County Animal League. She is waiting for volunteers just like you - more importantly the animals are waiting.
