Become a volunteer and help animals find new homes!

At Domestic Animal Services, it is volunteers who make the difference.  Public animal shelters receive thousands of animals each year and volunteers are the key to getting dogs out for long walks, providing extra attention to pet who need it, socializing cats and ultimately marketing pets to visitors.

DAS is looking for volunteers with special skills as well including planned giving, fundraising, planning and secretarial work in addition to the usual volunteer responsibilities.

Volunteers must be 15 years old or older.
